ABERDEEN, S.D. – All three winners in the 2021 Brown County Historical Society research and writing contest are Northern State University students.
First place went to Greg Lux for his paper “Striking Out: Why the Homestead Strike was a Success for No One.” Lux, from Eden Valley, Minn., is a history education major.
