ABERDEEN, S.D. – Northern State University is gaining a marketing expert who will bring extensive experience in digital and social media marketing to the campus.
Chad Hatzenbuhler has accepted the role of Director of Communications and Marketing and will join the NSU team April 3.
Hatzenbuhler brings to Northern a vast background in communications and marketing in the financial sector, working in both private and public banking. For the past year, he has worked as a Marketing Specialist at Aberdeen’s Plains Commerce Bank. Prior to that, he spent over a decade with the Bank of North Dakota.
Through those positions and self-employment, Hatzenbuhler developed a wide range of skills in communication, digital marketing, marketing analytics, graphic design, and web development.
“We look forward to Chad guiding our communication and marketing strategies to new levels of success,” said Dr. Neal Schnoor, NSU President. “I am confident in his ability and desire to collaborate with our entire campus community to achieve our strategic priorities.”
Hatzenbuhler earned an associate degree in Commercial Art at Bismarck State College before earning his B.S. in Marketing Management, with a minor in Business Management, from Minot State University.
