ABERDEEN, S.D. – Northern State University will celebrate Constitution Day on Monday, Sept. 18.
Constitution Day is the federal observance of the signing of the U.S. Constitution on Sept. 17, 1787. Several free, fun events are planned at NSU on Monday:
Student Center, 11 a.m.-1 p.m.:
History Club table
Dacotah Prairie Museum table
League of Women Voters table registering voters
Special food at the Wolves Den
U.S. flags on display
Barnett Center parking lot, 4 p.m.:
Flag retirement ceremony
All day on Monday, offices will be decorated; there will be signs around campus, including on the front of the Technology Center; and there will be a Constitution Game in Williams Library.
Around town, American flags will be flown, courtesy of Exchange Club.
