As finance majors, students will gain the analytical tools and financial awareness needed to navigate the complexities of investment, risk management, and corporate finance, earning a degree that opens doors to a myriad of exciting career opportunities.

If you¡¯ve earned at least 60 credits, you can complete your undergraduate education through Northern State University¡¯s Bachelor of General Studies degree. As a graduate of this program, you will be qualified to pursue various career opportunities requiring a bachelor's degree. Additionally, you will be eligible to apply to graduate programs that require an undergraduate degree as a prerequisite.

As a history major at Northern State University, you'll use the historical method to perform research and clearly present findings, identifying and explaining the significance of important events and issues in American and world history. Dedicated NSU faculty will help you make connections across time and space while fine-tuning your writing and critical thinking skills.
