Welcome to the NSU Reading Clinic!
Northern State University's Reading Clinic will provide literacy assessment and instruction for students in grades 1-12 who read above, at, or below grade level while providing opportunities for pre-service teachers to develop their knowledge and skills as teachers of reading and writing.
Clinic sessions, consisting of 14 one-hour tutoring sessions, are held during the fall and spring semesters. Students in grades 1-12 who are above, at, or below grade level readers or writers are invited to the clinic. Each student will work with a supervised NSU elementary/special education major.
Visit Learning About Spelling and read Scientific Word Investigation for details about the type of instruction available at the NSU Reading Clinic.
